Refund Policy

Effective [effective date]

Subscriptions and credits for anticlaude are sold by Paddle, our merchant of record, and refunds are paid by Paddle to the card you paid with. Ask either of us; we will sort it out between us.

Subscriptions

  • You can cancel at any time. Cancelling stops the next payment; you keep your plan until the end of the period you have paid for.
  • Within 14 days of the first payment of a new subscription, ask and we refund it in full if you have written no more than one post and bought no pictures on it. That is the window to find out whether it writes anything you would publish.
  • After that, or once the plan has been used, we do not refund the remainder of a period — a month's posts, pages and credits were available to you for that month.
  • If a renewal charged you after you cancelled, or charged you twice, tell us and it is refunded at once.

Credit top-ups

  • A credit pack is refundable in full within 14 days if none of its credits has been used.
  • Credits that have been used are not refundable; they were spent with the AI providers the moment the work ran.

When something on our side goes wrong

  • A run that fails is charged only for the work that ran, and never more than its quote; a post we could not write from your material is not counted as one of your posts. This happens automatically.
  • If an outage stops you using the service for a substantial part of a billing period, we extend your plan or refund that part, whichever you prefer.
  • A picture that our own checks reject is not charged.

What is not a reason for a refund

That a draft was not to your taste. The drafts are made by AI models from your material; some will be wrong, and the product is built so that redoing them is cheap and quoted first. Use the openings, the rebuild and the picture preview before spending; ask us if something seems to be misbehaving rather than merely unhelpful.

Consumers in the EU and UK

You have a 14-day right to withdraw from a purchase of digital services. Because the service starts at once, the checkout asks you to agree that it begins immediately and that the right is lost once you have used it; the refunds above apply regardless, and nothing here removes rights the law gives you.

How to ask

Email [contact email] from the address on the account, or use the receipt from Paddle. Say what you bought and when; we reply within two working days. Please ask us before opening a dispute with your bank — a chargeback takes weeks and costs everyone more than a refund that takes a day.
